i haven't said Sinhalese people are genetically predisposed towards non-violence. all i'm saying is compare american schools and sri lankan ones. Sinhalese people are less violent in most cases compared to western counterparts. how many Sinhalese people u have seen who do hunting as a leisure activity ? almost every westerner enjoys fishing and shooting at innocent animals.

americans dont view animals as 'beings' like we do with eastern philosophy. Americans dont think our relatives can be reborn as an animals, they dont think their dead mom/dad could be the animal they just shot, they dont think they'd go to hell for killing animals..so its just a different between the 2 philosophies,,

just because about onces a year u hear about a school shooting it dosnt mean that amerian kids are bad compared to sinhalese kids.. we could've done a proper comparison if guns were easily accesible for our kids too.
