Travellers Vaccinated With Russian, Chinese & Indian Vaccines May Be Unable to Enter Majority of EU Countries
Here's the current take on Chinese vaccines for travel to the West.
The WHO is trying to get these countries to accept all their approved vaccines, obviously includes the Chinese ones. This has not happened yet, but later on, it could, simply because there are a large proportion of Chinese vaccine takers in the less developed countries and in China.
But at the moment, the European or the North American authorities does NOT accept the Chinese vaccines. They only accept Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna Inc., AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
NOTE: They even does NOT accept the Indian manufactured AZ, which is Covishield. - Effectively barring the Covax initiative - which I believe is not quite fair.
The EMA is considering granting the approval, but also states that it's up to the each individual country to decide on their acceptance of vaccines, including Russia’s Sputnik V, for travel purposes.
The absence of published trial data from the Chinese vaccine developers, ever changing vaccine efficacy figures, with the Chinese CDC comments and the acknowledgement that the efficacy can be low, gives mixed signals. Also the situation with Seychelles, Bahrain etc not presenting a good picture for Chinese vaccines.

If you are going abroad things are not clear at the moment. No country had rejected vaccinations but they have different quarantine regimes and they are changing day by day. So what will be accepted in Canada or any other country is not certain at the moment.
