Is over charge protection, load disconnect on over discharge to protect battery etc available, or will be too much trouble / cost to include?

Btw, there was a comment about Gel batteries on circuit link you kindly provided.
The 12V ups bat you are using is a gel bat ? Is it a concern or no prob ?

What is the approx full flat to full charge time in bright sun light ?
(ups battery eka 7Ah ? )
