මචංලා මම Capital Alliance එකේ සල්ලි වගයක් දැම්මා හැබැයි මට confirmation එකක් ආවෙ නැහැ මගේ bank එකෙන් සල්ලි අඩු වෙලා තියෙන්නෙ. CAL portal එකට log වෙලා බැලුවම එක ඉස්සරහින් approved වෙනුවට තියන්නේ canceled කියලා වැටිලා. බැරිවෙලා හරි සල්ලි ටික බෑන්ක් එකට රිටන් උනේ නැත්නම් උන්ට කෝල් කරලා වැඩක් වුණේ නැත්නම් කාටද කම්ප්ලේන් කරන්න ඕන? උඹලට මේ company එකේ සල්ලි දාලා අවුලක් වෙලා තියෙනවද ?

If you have transferred money to Deutsche bank, then it can fail sometimes due to an issue on the Banks side.
It happened to me and CAL inform me that funds will return to my account in 2 working days.

Alternatively, you can try Commercial bank of NTB as they shown in the portal.
Finally, I send funds to Commerical

This is a very reputed company and I have deposit and withdrawn money many times

This sounds more like a payment gateway issue. Contact your bank and ask them what the status of the payment is. Get the authorisation code for the payment and send it to cal if you don't get your money back within a few days. However I advice against investing in finance companies. Don't do it

Thanks for the comment machan. I've transfered to their NTB collection account since I couldnt find a way to initiate a Slips transaction from my Sampath account. Strangely the amount was shown for few hours on my portal before disappearing and I didn't get any notification from CAL. I'm worried because I'll have to wait till Tuesday to contact them and some one in the company could flee with the money litterery.

Thanks bro I will do as you said. It didn't occur to me that it might be a payment issue as you mentioned.

Unit Trust are not finance companies, They don't lend the money they invest in financial securities like Govt Bonds, corporate debentures, Money market and stock market

I know. However small companies like these don't have enough book value and assets to liquidate if something goes wrong. Not every unit trust is the same.

If your account is debited that money needs to be credited to another account. You can call both companies and inform this ASAP.
I think this can be solved , but if not complained to Financial Ombudsman earlier it was at Vajira Rd. They will look in to that. You can also complain to CB too.
Unit Trusts are mainly investing in share market and money market(Bonds) but the return can be negative sometimes, depending on share market fluctuations.
They are regulated and there is a Trustee for the money so your money will not be lost, but our fund management are very poor. So Unit Trusts did not perform the way they should .

I'm sure it's an accounting delay. CAL is a regulated company. So in this particular case, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Hopefully, this will get fixed after the long weekend.

Regulated or not, every company can go bust. That's a different story. So don't put all your eggs in one company.
