yeah good as a propaganda but that's not a valid point always cause there might be more than thousand of people who haven't even seen a Conan Doyle's book.
see now, SH stereotype actually helped me to be a fan of conan doyle.
Once people build a curiosity. they will definitely read Conan Doyle. well, assuming those people are reading type of men.
Don't look just from your side. everything has both advantages and disadvantages. as an example Don't u know anything about Nancy Drew? these kind of Holmes propaganda loses the market share for Nanacy Drew distributors.
Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys? and screw the market share. There's about 100s Nancy Drew books I think unlike SH.

I really doubt you could compare Nancy Drew and Sherlock Holmes.
Sherlock Holmes serves to a much more matured set of readers unlike Nancy Drew. Basically Nancy drew is read by 14 year old chicks lol.
in my pov, it's a disgrace to compare Conan Doyle to Nancy Drew. in that case SH.

You basically bring your own viewpoints and try to justify within it. people has different tastes and attitudes. so it's not fair to compare two distinct characters you know it doesn't work. I like Nanacy Drew more than Holmes I am not sure what's the reason exactly might be it symbolizes the feminism somehow since I am a part of it there is no doubt about it. nowadays there are video games ,movies, story books are written for her.
so you can't exactly say it doesn't have much of market share ratio.cause if it doesn't have a place in market it's pointless to create something based on Nancy Drew.
and again don't judge a person from his/her age cause there are even graduated teen people.
it's not compulsory to be a late 1800s story cause I didn't mention anything about the era.
yeah that's the reason for that you haven't read anything about Nancy Drew so how is it possible you criticize drew properly? of course it's not possible to compare two people cause everyone is different it likes you compare orange and apple.
