LOL! see.
This guy makes no sense but talk all BS.
First I didn't say that, Colombo uni was bad. I accept the fact that every government uni is better than and private unis and institutions in SL without any hypocrisy and I too proudly say that I studied at a government uni. (without SL free education I will never make this far) Also graduates from governments unis have good reputation in the industry than other graduates in SL most of the time.
Now let me make a point.
According to you so called UOC is the best and it ranked among world best 1500 unis right, but then what about affiliated degrees in private institutions and unis in SL.
For example, NIBM - university college of dublin and SLIIT curtin and UK degree. They are not ranked behind UOC right. In fact, those unis are way ahead than all our unis in SL. ( Curtin among world best 300, university college of dublin among best 200 unis in the world and so on)
Then what is this nonsense "uba lankawe no 1 uni ekata thama oya baninne. lol. "
Hope you dickhead can understand what you wrote earlier and the difference between world best 300 unis and best 1500 unis. LOL! Then why is that UOM engineering graduates getting so many opportunities in the industry than all the others. It must go to UOC right. (According to your uni ranking logic) Haha! First get you facts correct Mr.
Then I'm telling you again. No one gives you a degree in SL for money etc. Simply every undergraduate has to pass exams, do assignments and study hard to earn a degree. Next, if you are good at whatever thing you do, it doesn't matter where you from like pvt or government uni.
Finally, we come to this part.
"uba dakala nethilu eken godak enawa. eka thamai eke quality eka. pandurakata gahuwahama 100k visiwenna degree denne ne eke."
True. I haven't seen many of them. So once you completes BIT you gotta find a work placement or a job. To BIT degree holders it will be a little bit harder than others coz, they don't get proper support form their institution or lecturers and there are less no of superiors to get support if you are going for an interview.
Then again, I do work at a one of below listed companies unlike you and further more, I'm sure they will never hire people like you with this kind of attitude towards other people.
Next thing is earlier on, someone also said a lot of people who start BIT leave it after first or second year. No wonder! In the meantime these guys say to the person who starts this thread that he doesn't need to go to lecturers for the first year and maybe he also can skip the second year lectures and pass the exam by doing self studies. Damn you all! you dickheads wanna see this fellow also leaving BIT after first year or second year without completing degree.
Just think through man. You have to get a proper support from some one at least when you are doing a degree. For example, some people go to 6 classes for 3 subjects in A/L and still fail the exam and these guys telling him to skip the bloody lectures when he's doing something new like BIT. LOL! I'm sure this attitude will help you to increase the number of drop out students.
(On the other hand other BIT people go to cheap places like ESOFT and ICBT for BIT lectures and most of the time these so called lecturers in those pvt institutions only have a diplomas and they teach final year BIT subjects. No surprises ha!)
So this also proves that these idiots who only talk big have no idea what they are talking about.
Then "uba dakala thiyena industry eke vertusa wenna athi neda lol."
Bold part is, I haven't seen any BIT guys in leading SW compnies in SL or outside the country. For instance have you guys (hey! ms48mail. I know that you work aborad for google but I'm talking about SL companies here) ever seen a BIT guy in WSO2, MIT, Mubasher, 99x etc.
Just cut the crap dude! You very hardly find one or two BIT people in high positions in above listed companies maybe one day you'll be able to make it, if you have enough experience and exposure in the industry. ( BTW no kidding! I'm sure there must be a few SE with BIT degrees in those, but they are way out numbered by government uni graduates and other pvt uni people. So you are talking too much about one or two persons)
After all this is why, I always tel ordinary guys (like the one who started this thread) to go to a place like SLIIT or NIBM to get proper education (real lecturers with degrees and other qualification, real education environment and real facilities) without doing self studies and digging their way to self destruct them selves and help further to increase high BIT drop out rate.)
prior to posting in this thread, I never thought that this madness will come after me like this just because of expressing my idea.
Hope one or two smart ones will grasp the idea of this post.
