S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia won the toss and opted to bowl first as they knocked out the visitors for a shocking 27 runs in a under 17 group game.

Wiry left-arm seamer Kalana Perera was the match winner for the home team as he took all 10 wickets in a dream bowling spell. He finished with figures of 4.4 overs 10 wickets for only 3 runs. He was a major contributor for the Thomians in the Roy-tho this year. The efforts of Kalana Perera made sure that the home team cruised to a convincing 9 wicket win over the visitors.
