Awesome review.... And needless to say you are a one lucky owner city driving and upcountry drives are dct killers.... Cant compare to aqua performance vise... But in maintainance its a totally different story!!! Love to see a owner who's obsessed with his car..... S grade comes with a factory fitted body kit nh???

මචන්. GP1/Insight/Shuttle එකේ නම් ඕක known fault එකක්. ඕකට honda එකෙන් modified piston එකක් එවල තියනවා.

GP5 එකේ ගොඩක් එවුන් එන්ජිමට කෙලවගන්නවා වැරදි oil එක දාලා. Stafford එකෙන් කියන්නේ 5w-30 දාන්න කියලා. ඒත් මැනුවල් එකේ කියලා තියනවා 0w-20 දාන්න කියලා. මන් honda Japan වලින් ඇහුව. උන් කියන්නෙත් 20 oil එක දාන්න කියලා.

බලමු ඊළඟ අවුරුද්ද වෙද්දී මාත් ලක්ශේ ගහයිනේ.

එන්ජින් ඔයිල් ගැන අපේ මකබාස්ලත් එක්ක කතා කරලා ඇති වෙලා බන් ඉන්නේ.ලංකාව රස්නෙයි කියලා 30 දාන්න ඕන නම් ඩුබායි වල එහෙම 100 වත් දාන්න වෙයි. පරිසර උෂ්ණත්වය බලපාන්නේ W කෑල්ලට (0w, 5w..etc )

මම stafford යන එක අත්තරියේ උන් clutch oil මාරු කරන්න ඕන නෑ කිව්වට පස්සේ. මන් හැම 10000 කට සැරයක් clutch oil එක මාරු කරනවා. මතක විදියට DOT4 බ්රේක් ඔයිල් තමා දාන්න ඕන. මේකේ Clutch pump එක delphi. ඒ නිසා මන් නම් Delphi/Lokheed තමා දාන්නේ.

Typically crawling is the one you shouldn't do on a DCT. Not the city driving. If you properly change the clutch oil, doesn't matter how much abuse you put on the DCT. Honda DCT first designed for Honda Acura NSX. Which is a very performance oriented car

Pre 2014-10 GP5/Vezel/Grace had a DCT issue which caused premature failure of clutch pack due to a software bug. Honda even replaced entire gearbox for effected cars.

Though this has a Dry clutch, there are some weird small pipings goes into the clutch pack. Could be for cooling purposes. I've driven 200KM straight up with close to 80KM continuous incline with full power on. If it fails under heat, it would have died long time ago. I didn't even get a temperature warning once.

I have a brake fluid tester at home, Oil started to degrade around 10k KM. hence why i change very often. Dual clutches are not easily wear out as job get split across 2 clutches instead of one. Also unlike manual clutch balance, computer operated clutch tends to do a better job and avoid clutch slipping.

Most dual clutches last around 100-150k miles. I have read even ZF made BMW DCT lasted 200k plus.
