one of the basic assumptions in modern day science, or more accurately that of physics, is that the reality strictly follows mathematical equations. Every phenomena, every action between things (like particles) can be describes using simple set of equations. There are some counter instances for this like nbody problem. That's a whole different discussion. But the foundation of modern science is one that has faith in mathematical nature of reality.
The other major belief is the whole can be understood by understanding the workings of its parts. This is what we call reductionism. Everything we see are said to be workings of particles and their interactions among other particles. Causal chain starts from the most fundamental particles and flows upward towards macrocosm.
Another belief is the existence of a beginning for everything and the linearly flowing causal chain. The concept of beginning is deeply intertwined into our modern day understanding. But when u think about it, we have never perceived a real beginning of anything. Same goes for causality. Read some works by David Hume. He investigates deeply on this matter. Where the concept causality came from and how do we know about its existence. Causality is yet another belief in modern day science. There were other cultures which didn't have such a firm faith on causality but tried to understand things with correlations or in other words patterns.

2) ධ්යාපනය - සිත දියුණු කිරිමෙන් විශ්වයේ ඈති දෑනුම ලබාගන්න පුලුවන් .නිවන් දකින්නෙත් මෙහෙම.එහෙම නැතුව උපාධි පට්ටම් කරේ තියාගෙන නෙමේ. ආයුර්වේදයත් එහෙම හදපු දෙයක් මිස සුද්දො කියනවා වගේ අත්දෑකිමෙන් ගත්ත දෙයක් නෙමේ )
