Two injured in shooting at Ceypetco HQ
COLOMBO (News 1st) – A shooting was reported at the premises of the Dematagoda Head Office of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.
Police media spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said that a tense situation erupted when a group of individuals arrived at the Ceypetco head office following the arrival of MP Arjuna Ranathunga.
SP Gunasekara added that two people had sustained injuries in the shooting carried out by a security officer of the Parliamentarian.
The injured have been admitted to the National Hospital.
