1. I got higher grades and have no clue about what to do. Let me do a PhD --> End up in universities fucking up their future and others future
2. I am too lazy to find a job and I like sitting in a lab and playing with stuff
3. My family tree needs a PhD to it
4. Others are doing so why shouldn't I do it?
5. My job is getting bored and I am too lazy to do something challenging. Let me take up a PhD

Lankawe un PhD karala karapu contributions he adui. Also most of them suffer their entire life because they don't have the money to increase their quality of life. I only have seen a very few who have chosen degrees strategically i.e. to advance their carrier. Now those fuckers end up getting very high salaries.

Anyway my advice to any fresh graduate is --> Fuck university, go do a job get job experience, Do industry specific certs and advance in your carrier. You will endup living like a king

Naah in an IT related field but not SE.

And freedom they have after the PhD and after becoming a lecturer. Its worth the effort and all other commitments. We can identify a good researcher by looking at his/her google scholar account. Ones who has higher citations and publications, definately don't do PhD due to your reasons. Civilization runs on tiny bit of findings from that researchers. Innovation is a collaborative thing. Not one guy find something new in one day. All researchers regardless of race or country, will give their contribution to the progression of the civilization.
