Overall I think Japan takes the top. They help us because it was JRJ who gave them the real freedom after the war. They will not forget it as it's even taught in schools.
I do not think there will be any country that supported SL for all its efforts as we have not reciprocated such support for any country.
One needs to see the issue and support we got.
Pakisthan supported us for a lot and China (before they became economic power) did the same as both have axes to grind with India.
India only supported us when it suited them only. They are now with US and also with Russia but not with China and Pak.
We supported Pakisthan and allowed landing of aircrafts during East Pak war where India was also involved . So they have the said gratitude and always had joint military drills with SL Navy.
