හායි මචන්ලා,

මම SQA ස්කිල්ස් හදාගන්න ට්‍රයි කරනවා,මට දැනගන්න අවශ්‍යයි Industry එක ගැන..

Fresher කෙනෙක් QA Journey එක Start කරන්නේ කොහොමද ?

Intern කෙනෙක්ගෙන් බලාපොරොත්තු වෙන්නේ මොනවද ?

ඔයාලා Test Automation කරන්න පාවිච්චි කරන Tools මොනවද ? Test Scripts ලියන්න පාවිච්චි කරන Language එක මොකද්ද කියල, කොටාගෙන යමුද කොම්පැනි එකත් එක්කම?

මම දැනට Python,Selenium ඉගෙනගන්න පටන් ගත්තා.මගේ Background එක Computer Science,IT නෙවෙයි.

Self thought QA කෙනෙක් වෙන්නයි ට්‍රයි කරන්නේ.පොඩි සපෝර්ට් එකක් ඕනි...

Not a QA engineer. But here are my two cents.

Focus on learning the basic NFRs of a software products. These could be performance, security, usability, responsiveness etc. As a QA professional, you have to test for these quite often according to given bench marks.

Testing for functional requirements isn't a complex task. You have the specifications and you just have to make sure it behave as it says on specifications. Learn what could be edge cases for different applications on different environment (mobile, web etc)

And learn about test automation technologies on side, which will improve your profile. Selenium is a good place to start. It will help you understand basics of coding as well.

yeah, I have tried to learn java first, but I have given up because its difficult to pick as my first language compared with python.I wanted to master one language in a short span of time.so i picked python.plan to move java later.
