culture- very narrow minded( canot live with your way of life style..clubbing,GF, partying)

poor standard of living - country is over populated in its size...ideally should be having a population of about 13 million.

and no prospects to comeup but can be good if you are a doctor



its not the tax, or economy...its the lack of entertainment you need after a hard days work. australians go to cycle after work...he may go for a swim. no one is going to tell him anything. he may divorce his wife no one is going to comment in FB about this...the freedom is what differs sri lanka and australia in my opinion.


when i came here just to check out i went to a strip club and enjoyed it. when i walked out i saw my boss going in the car. next day he just joked at me and even suggested another place to go if i really liked it...that was the end of the conversation. we never hinted at each other or went to tell anyone else...i got my personal space and he got his.that is australia...imagine if it was here. he would have told it to another asshole and become jealous of me becuase he cannot go since he is married...etc and next time i make a mistake he is going to pull this and advise me like his a saint.. I never visited a strip club after that...but i know if I want i can easily go and enjoy myself If i want to ...that feeling is what we lack in Sri lanka


It all boils down to democracy....when you are free you dont have to be jeolous of another person because you know you made the choice.
