Use lower gear in AUTO too
With your permission I would like to add one thing. In #3 it said manual geared cars should use lower gears when going down a slope. I would like to add, ""regardless of manual or auto, you should use lower gears while going down in a slope"". That's why all auto cars have the ability to shift between D and lower gears up or down while driving. As soon as you hit the flat ground shift back to D.
