The best thing that can happen as I see is, Gota winning the presidential and then NPM and SLPP merger for the parliamentary election.
NPN has really good working level members. they can use SLPP's popularity to gain entrance to parliament and that would do some good for this country.
it is upto ppl to not to vote and send the SLPP goons (not all SLPP are goons and not all SLPP are saints) to parliament.

at least the bugger has knowledge. not saying he is ideal. but looking at the fkers holding it now, he is way better. and he'd be supervised, at least by someone (Gota/MR) so cannot go full wrong on that.
