I know two media personalities who moved abroad. Both are men. Can't mention their names for obvious reasons. Sorry.
One of them came as a student dependent (wife is doing a masters). Works for minimum wage in an office. The other one is single and has just completed his masters and looking for a job. He has done a masters in a completely unrelated field and is planning to change fields. This guy keeps troubling me to find him a job (I'm established in the same field as he is trying to move to). But with no related experience in his CV, I can't help him.
Both have made loads of money in SL. As far as I know, they are just using the money they made in SL to survive here.
