මම හැමදාම කියන දේ බන්. අපි අපේ වැලියුස් තියගෙන යන්න ඔනා රැල්ල යන පැත්තට. සින්ගපුරුවේ උන් කලේ ඒක. උන් ගොඩ ගියා. ජපනා තරම් ඇමෙරිකන් උන්ගෙන් බැට කාපු සෙට් එකක් තවත් නැ. ඒත් උන් පලිගන්න ගියානම් අද උතුරු කොරියාව ඉන්න තැන ඉන්නේ ජපානේ. ජපානේ උන් බැලුවා සතුරා උනත් මාකට් එකක් තියනවා. උන් සොනි, ටොයොටා වගේ කම්පැනි යුඇස් යවලා මාකට් එක ඇල්ලුවා. අපි තාමත් සුද්දා අපේ අරකට කෙලියා අරක අරන් ගියා කිය කිය බැන බැන ඉන්නවා. ඒ බනිනගමන් සුද්දෙක් එනකන් බලන් ඉන්නවා සීගිරිය පෙන්නලා ගතමන්ට් එකක් ගන්න. කාශ්යප රජ්ජුරුවොවත් නොකරපු දේවල් දැන් අපේ උන් සුද්දට කරන්නේ.

yep. still people think during war times Russia and China supplied weapons to SL government but reality is its lot cheap to buy from Pakistan, China Russia than US. US never refused any military aid to Sri Lanka, we just can't afford their equipment so we went for cheap options. SL people thought US not going to help with the war, but they aid SL forces with plenty of intelligence and training. If you browse history in navy and air force so many joint exercises were conducted by US and SL for military purposes. Sadly majority of the SL people don't know anything about this.

අපේ මිනිස්සු හිගා කැවත් එක නම්බුකාරකමක් විදියට දකින්නේ. ඔකයි වැරැද්ද. සුද්දට උනත් අපිට දෙයක් විකුනලා උන්ගේ මාකට් එක අල්ලන්න පුලුවන් නම් ඒක ලැජ්ජා වෙන්න දෙයක් නෙමෙයි. ලොකේ මිනිස්සු කරන්නේ ඒක. චීනා සම්පූර්නම කරන්නේ ඒක. අපි ඉතින් හරි ප්‍රෞඩයි කිය කිය ඉන්නවා රජ කාලේ මුතුන් මිත්තො හදපුවා දැන් සුද්දට ටිකට් ගහලා පෙන්නලා. 1948න් පස්සේ දේශපාලනය තමයි මේක කැවේ, සුද්දා යකෙක් කියලා පෙන්නලා. මිනිස්සු සුද්දට ඩ්වේශකරන්න ඉගැන්නුවා මිසක, සුද්දගෙන් ගන්න ඉගැන්නුවේ නැ.

So true..this nation lots de opportunity of becoming a first world country due to de poor decision making by our co founders...we first change name frm "Ceylon" a worldwide household brand to Sri Lanka...then chased away foreign direct investment in 70's like Shell n BP who were de driving force of de world economy back then in de name of nationalization...for de Last 69 yrs as a country we r in a slumber
