i have samsung nu7000 55 inch 4k, using it for about 4 years.
very good colors and responsive software

also using 2023 toshiba fire tv, 50 inch 4k with ps5. default colors are not vibrant as samsung one, but can be adjusted in settings
also software is kinda slow and apps seems to rendering at lower resolution, all the content playback is 4k, so not a big issue. also using apps in ps5, this supports hdr and looks very good with ps5 contents

Sony. It's either China/Malaysia or Vietnam assembled. Sony no longer make TVs in Japan.

Sony use Android OS, so you get updates and apps will work longer time. Also buy their medium or higher range TV. Their budget models too slow and avarage picture/sound quality.

TCL OK but their budget models are not reliable and picture/sound quality is not good. Also they stop android updates very soon.

My personal advice is get medium or higher range sony TV and Amazon Fire 4K stick.

I was looking for a 4k 55inch tv on a budget.
Then I bought a Singer TV - (It's a Skyworth tv re-branded as Singer)
2GB RAM
16GB Storage
Google TV
Bluetooth Remote
HDR10
Bezel-less

The remote and menu is super responsive compared to other TVs in the same price range. (most other TVs have 1GB RAM)
I'm satisfied with my purchase
Mostly using for Netflix/Youtube/Jellyfin
