Android System Crash කරන Malware එකක් එළියට [Samsung පරිස්සමින්]

අළුත්ම Malware එකක් ඇවිල්ලා තියනවා Mobile phone target කරගෙන. මේක අර කලින් ආපු Ransomware විදියෙත්, Background hack වීමක්වත් සිදු වෙන්නෙ නෑ. මේක පැතිරෙන්නෙ Image එකක් විදියට. මොකද මේක use කරන්නෙ Google Skia color space එක නොවන නිසා. (Google Skia Color space එක කියන්නෙ sRGB එකට) ඒ color rendering bug එකක් නිසා තමයි මේක මේ Wallpaper එක use කරන phone වල System එක Reset වෙන්නෙ.

මේක මුලින්ම ඉදිරිපත් කලේ Ice Universe කියන කෙනා. (Twitter ඔස්සේ) ඒ වගේම මේකෙන් බලපෑමක් තියෙන්නෙ Samsung phone වලට විතරයි කියලා තමයි වැඩි තොරතුරු ලැබුනෙ.

මේ Image එක wallpaper එකට දාගත්තම Phone එක Automatically lock screen එකට යනවා. ඊට පස්සෙ කීප වතාවක් Background light on, off වීමෙන් අනතුරුව Phone එක reset mode එක පත්වෙනවා.

Yes... Thanks . This news is true. However, it's not limited only for these particular images. Other images too would cause the same problem.
The reason is supposedly from the function doColorManagement when the ColorSpace of the image is not supported by the device.
On Android 11 the system converts the color space, if not supported and this does not happen.
