Absolutely. BB is obviously genius but I immensely enjoy the discipline in BCS. Gould and Gilligan knew that they can never reproduce another BB so they did what any good artist do after a massive hit, they stayed true to themselves. If BB is a phenomena, BCS is art.

This is a little bit like how Tarantino wrote Jackie Brown after Pulp Fiction became a nationwide hit. It didn't have all the bells and whistles of PF but in retrospect I believe Jackie Brown better illustrates Tarantino's writing.

And please use spoiler tags. Haven't seen the part 1 finale.
