Ok as Pasan said, let's stop offtopic stuff here. Let's put the prices of hardware devices. Ok? :)

Novindu said there is a shop at Nugegoda which gives Kingston 1GB RAM for lifetime warranty for Rs.10,000. The place is in front of Louver institute (or whatever you call it)

Geforce 8 because still ATI haven't released their DX10 cards. It might change. I'm not a fanboy. I get the best that falls under my budget. The only reason I have a Core2Duo with me is because I couldn't find any X2 3800+'s. Otherwise I would be using an AMD rig right now. Why? Because I could have used my DDR400 sticks from the old rig, and also the IDE hard drive from it. In the past, I had AMD because at the time I bought it, Intel didn't have a better offering. Likewise, my Radeon 9700Pro didn't have any nVidia competitors (those crappy GeforceFX ) and Radeon9600Pro was the only AGP card I could find in the mid range (after the 9700Pro burnt :() and for this X800GTO's price, there wasn't anything from Geforce that was at least 50% as fast. Of course I switch brands!!! If AMD Barcelona will pass Intel, I will move to AMD for the next upgrade. ;)

    Anyway, for this topic

Asus 17" LCD Analog = Rs. 27,000 at ASUS Center, Wellawatta
