Some English educated Professors in UK defines it this way

Computer Science course provides a mathematical numerate certification thats more like Hardware Science, Microchip programming, assembly language, intercommunication with hardware devices. However they may include a couple of subjects from Computer Engineering too. The pre-qualification to apply for the course they would mostly would require AL Maths/Physics probably an A grade pass.

Computer Engineering, you could learning every nuisance about software building, project managment, business communication, business systems, databases, web languages, network communications. All or Some Business Management, Computer Hardware, Software subjects may be included.

However both streams like in other institutions would certify both streams as SCIENCE because end of the day at work you are required to resolve problems in scientific approach i.e manageable and methodical manner to you and other co-workers.

Reason why Computer Science cheaper than Computer Engineering. B'cos not everybody is a Math genius. students in computer science class are low in number.

End of the day you need to decided are you going to work for some company thats involved in critical applications like weather, geology, manufacting and chemical processing plants, space and satellites, future trading markets.
OR
company involved in providing solutions to business problems, retail, whosale, b2c-b2b applications, transport, warehousing, enterprise managments ERPs. etc.

And also decide whats your job role going to be in such companies then choose working lifestyle u need 9-5 job or just be a nerd 24hrs.
