මෙ පාර A/L result එක අනුව මට government university එකකට යන්න chance එකක් තියෙනව. මම commerce වලින් තමයි A/L කලේ ඒත් ඉස්සරහට IT පැත්තෙන් තමයි degree එක කරන්න හිතාගෙන ඉන්නෙ. මට තියෙන result එක අනුව (A3) IT පැත්තෙන් UCSC එකෙ Information Systems එකයි, Moratuwa Uni Business Science degree එක කරන්න පුලුවන්. ඒත් එහෙම කලොත් දැන් තියෙන තත්වෙ අනුව තව අවුරුදු 5-6 වත් යියි degree එක complete කරන්න. ඒක හින්ද SLIIT එකෙන් IT degree එකක් ගන්න එක හොද තීරනයක්ද? Government university යන්න chance එකක් තියෙද්දි Private යන එක මෝඩ වැඩක්ද? SLIIT එකෙන් scholarship දෙන්නෙ නැද්ද? වෙන අහන්න කවුරුත් නැති හින්ද එලකිරියෙන් අහන්නෙ. Advice එකක් දෙන්න..

මේක අලුත් degree එකක් නිසා තාම job market එකක්නම් ලංකාවෙ නැ. මෙ ටික තමා job list එක.

IT වලට පමණයි මම කියන්නෙ. ලංකාවෙ ඉන්න බලාපොරොත්තු වෙනව නං IT විතරක් කරපන්. නැත්තං අනාත උනාට පස්සෙ ත්‍රෙඩ් එකක් දාපන් ඒක බලල වෙන එකෙක්ට හැදෙන්න.

It is totally up to you to make this decision. Both govt. and private universities have their own pros and cons. If I were you what I would do is I would think about what I would be in five years. Given the country's situation, I would factor in financial abilities also. Ex: Do I have a stable financial source to fund my private education? Since you mentioned time, remember life is not a time-oriented race. It's all about how you excel based on merit.

From my personal experience, the divide between private (accredited) and state/govt. universities based on the quality of education is just an imagination. At the end of the day, it all depends on how you learn things by yourself, how you develop your soft skills, and how you prepare yourself for future prospects, and etc. All the best with making a decision. මෙහෙමයි. උබ ට යන්න ඕන degree programs තියන university වලින් උබ ට ආස course content එක එහෙම අරන් බලපන්. මොනවද කෙරෙන්නේ මොන කොටස් ද ආවරණය වෙන්නේ. තේරෙන්නේ නැත්නම් අඳුරන software engineer කෙනෙක් ගෙන් වගේ advice ගනින්.
It industry එකේ නම් government or private වලට ඕනේ තරම් job තියනවා. ඔය tution කාරයො කියන government campus විතර්යි හොඳ අනිත් ඒව වැඩක් නෑ වගේ කියන බොරු වලට නම් අහු වෙන්න එපා.

It කරොත් පුළුවන් නම් weekend s වගේ non paid internship එකක් කරපං( ඒ කියන්නේ උඹ අතින් වියදම් කරන් job එකකට යන්න ඕන)

එහෙම කරලා it sector එකට ඕන කරන skills හදා ගනිින්. Communication skills, team work skills, customer dealing skills වගේ එතකොට උඹට degree එක ඉවර වෙනකොට හොඳ experince එකක් තියනවා
