just wait for few batches to pass out, they just started the first batch few months ago ... no one knows about the job market ... it's 1yr degree , if you don't have pre qualifications , you can't do it ... but you can complete the HND and do it ... But my recommendation is to wait for at-least first batch to pass out whether to see it's valuable or not ... and you will know how hard it is from the percentage of the passed students ... sometimes exams are tricky at ICBT, they raise the cutoff mark if few of them are failing, so that will fail many and they can earn from many failed students again... so, if the degree is difficult or any tricky things happening etc you will know from the first batch , other wise ayyo salli kiyanna thamai wenne .... , mona degree ekak thibbath IESL (Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka) eke membership eka naththan oyata Engineer kenek wenna ba, Moratuwa campus eken degreeya gaththa kenath IESL register wenna one, naththan Engineer nemei, IESL membership nathuwa thaman engineer kiyala kiyanna giyoth neethi magin katayuthu kerennath puluwan, usually IESL won't give their membership to 1yr to 3yr degrees .. they ask for four year degrees or they need you to do their IESL part 1 & 2 to become a member of their institution ... but if you do IESL part 1 and 2 , they will give you the "Engineer" (I ENG - incorporated engineer) status legally to practice in sri lanka though you don't have a degree even ... And IESL (Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka) acts as the registrar of engineers in sri lanka.
