THX FOR UR EXCELLENT DESCRIPTION ABOUT THIS SYSTEM BRO. I HAVE GOT NDT CIVIL +GRADUATE DIPLOMA CIVIL FROM CITY AND GUILDS. SO NOW I APPLIED FOR MORE EXEMPTIONS FROM THEM(LIVERPOOL UNI) FROM THE FINAL YEAR OF THE CIVIL ENGINEERING DEGREE.Degrees in the UK universities are 3yr degrees not 4yr degrees like Sri Lanka ... And, if anyone has previous equivalent qualifications (credit equivalent, most of the time 240 credits out of 360) to their 1st and 2nd year of their degrees (such as Higher National Diplomas (HND) from edexel , NDT etc., ), those qualified persons can ask from the University in the UK to release the 1st and 2nd year of the degree and allow them to do the Final year. If they accept that you have equivalent qualifications, then they will send you a offer letter to do the finals only, ICBT, ACBT, APIIT all are offering foreign degrees like this ... when you're entitled to a such credit released degree, that degree is identical to any other degree offered by the university .... it's not technically a 1 yr degree, from those reasons and credit releases for your previous qualifications you can complete it in one year...
FYI - "CRAZY_FUNNY" has a NDT qualification ,which he will be released from 1st and 2nd year .. so he will be able to continue his studies from final year of the degree.

TODAY IM GNG TO DISCUSS WITH THEM ABOUT THIS MATTER. ILL POST HERE WHAT HAPPENED. THXXI don't think that the university will further release the subjects for the Graduate Diploma, most probably they will release maximum 240 credits ... other wise, there is nothing you to study in the final year .. If you have the Graduate Diploma, why don't you apply directly to the MSc In project management or any other MSc ... , Anyways, it's your preference ...
