- 2-4 years of industry experience in a similar capacity or thorough knowledge and confidence on analyzing and solving complex technical problems using a wide spectrum of engineering tools in an optimum manner
- Prior experience in the following areas would be advantageous;
- Test-driven development, continuous integration and other agile practices
- 32 bit uP based embedded systems HW & SW designs
- Porting and driver development in embedded operating systems (Linux, Android, Windows CE and Windows Embedded etc.)
- High speed digital designs using FPGA
- DSP based solutions
- Security (HW and Algorithms)
- Computer vision and image processing based solutions
- Real time video and audio compression & streaming HW/SW solutions
- RF solutions (HW & SW designs for RFID, NFC and other Low power wireless data communication etc.) - Familiarity of the following tools/technologies would be advantageous;
- C/C++
- Assembly language (ARM, SH and x86 etc.)
- VHDL/Verilog/SystemC
- Orcad/Altium Designer or any other similar CAD tools
- .NET/JAVA
- UPOS (POS for .NET, JPOS, OPOS)
- OpenCV
- Matlab/Octave
- H.264/MPEG-4 Video compression (JM reference coder, X264 coder etc.) - Strong analytical and problem solving skills coupled with creativity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
