Using HP ProBook for over 3 years now, No issue whatsoever.

If you're going for an HP laptop, only buy their business series laptop like ProBook, ZBook, EliteBook.
Don't buy their budget series laptops specially Pavilion Series. HP Pavilion series is useless.

Wow! Whats the model? A member in the thread mentioned that I better go for business series HPs, can you confirm?

    Its HP 430. Core i3 2nd Gen (bought in 2011) :D
Many people say that HP is not much good. But what I believe is its all depend on the way how you use the laptop. (if its not a manufacture defect:rolleyes:)

Is this with 2GB RAM? Can I upgrade to 8GB.?
BTW I'll be running the laptop for at least 16Hrs or more per day.

Do not buy this now. Its very old :D
anyway, I upgraded it to 8GB DDR3 and if I'm at home, its always running. may be 8-10 hrs or more. sometimes it runs for the entire day as well
I still do virtualization, programming, simulations(GNS3) using this laptop. :P
