See how this shameless person try to Market Indian teachings in the name of Buddha...AtulaSiriwardane said:

If you go to that website link it says:
Vipassana, which means to see things as they really are, is one of India's most ancient techniques of meditation. It was rediscovered by Gotama Buddha more than 2500 years ago and was taught by him as a universal remedy for universal ills
(http://www.dhamma.org/en/vipassana.shtml)
There is a huge difference between discovering and rediscovering.
And this shameless Atula has even editted the wording of the website to suit his argument....
That Vipassana website simply is an Indian Marketing website developed in order to gain physical benefits and Marketing representatives of it like Atula tries to discredit the most noble Buddha and give the credit of discovering Vipassana to ancient indians.
And he does that in the name of Buddhism...
Shame on you Mr. Atula...
Try to follow the real dhamma if you're a buddhist, without trying to sell Lord Buddha.
