2. Whether you like it or not SLIIT reputation is not that good. Mora is leading while other govt unis like pera cmb etc together with IIT APIT competes heavily in the job market.

3. I know SLIIT has good guys. at the same time they have useless buggers as well. My brother graduated from SLIIT but at that time he was full time working in a private company as a marketing guy. He just followed SLIIT 'coz he wants a first degree for the sake of having it. His only contribution for group work is providing transport and meals. But somehow he passed and still working in marketing.(He is doing well in marketing and he has CIM and other marketing related qualifications). There are some guys somehow pass like my brother but they come to IT jobs. Then people start blaming the institute.

4. So your unfortunate situation is not you fault. Please keep on applying after modifying the CV. Then grab the first opportunity without thinking about money or field. From there you apply as a experienced person.

since pass out I have applied so many job but still no any response.

the people who have connection with oters they can find job
but people like us still in mess
they even don't look at our cv
now mora out, we have no single chance at all

අයියෝ මචන් නිකන් නොදන්න කතා කියන්න එපා බන්....
1st year එකේ මගේ batch එකේ 150 හිටියා (1st semester)
2nd semester ආවේ 110k වගේ
2nd ඉවර වෙනකොට විතර 80k වගේ

thats the problem with SLIIT ( pardon me i m not insulting your institute ) but they enroll a huge batch just for earning purposes. And they pass out each and every one who enrolled. Only consider for money, then those people who pay and passed out dreaming for a company come to them and recruit them.

If SLIIT maintain condition and quality like other private institutes and government institutes they can offer huge potential and opportunities for their students.

I personally know situation here with virtusa. Since there are more than enough students they can recruit from SLIIT they dont pay any attention to determine whether their are really capable people. So even if you are a person who has good technical background and capable of doing something, you will be ignored because of that supply is high ( so the demand become low)

What you have to do is go for QA job for now ( trust me i know people who working with me that are capable of doing marvelous job but they accept the QA offer just to get onboard. ) Then being their as a QA try to change the track internally.

IT/Development side eke innawanam GitHub, StackOverflow wage online sites wala links danna. IT side eke CV eka regular CV ekak widihata hadanna epa machan. Kadda polish karaganin.
