As far as I know Vietnam/Lao/Cambodia really don't want Sri Lankans to visit them. Therefore, you might have to visit the embassy yourself and figure out the exact procedure. I have visited Lao and Cambodia as I'm working in Thailand. Even though I had visa, hotel bookings, etc. with me, they still interrogated me for around 1 hour @ the airport. Stupid assholes at the airport immigration even said my passport is not good enough for them, so had to show international drivers licence too. LMAO

Anyways I hope you could get in without trouble. Best would be to visit the embassy + prepare additional documents (copies of tickets, hotel bookings, etc)

Also, as soon as they saw my passport is Sri Lankan, the immigration office called someone and took me straight in to the immigration police for questioning. Make sure you are not willing to bribe them. They asked how much money I have in my accounts and asked to make a photo of my credit cards, which I said 'not ur business'.

i can feel your pain. some sri lankans get rude treatment from immigration officers around the world for holding a sri lankan passport. there are immigration officers in some countries who treats you like a crook when they see you holding a sri lankan passport. thanks to fake asylum seekers , economic migrants , travel law violators , weak diplomatic relationship , illegal job seekers and human smugglers sri lankan passport has become one of the worst passports in the world.

sri lankan passport is listed in worlds top ten worst passport list.

# human smugglers

# fake asylum seekers

# economic migrants

# job seekers using tourist visa

# unauthorized travel agents who put innocent lankans in trouble by making them work illegal in a forigen nation without a work permit


the war is over now. i dont understand why economic migrants still trying the same old trick to get asylum in a developed country. most of these people are not genuine refugees
