here are some things lanka should stop

# human smugglers

# fake asylum seekers

# economic migrants

# job seekers using tourist visa

# unauthorized travel agents who put innocent lankans in trouble by making them work illegal in a forigen nation without a work permit


the war is over now. i dont understand why economic migrants still trying the same old trick to get asylum in a developed country. most of these people are not genuine refugees

Some people work with the student visa as well. In japan, aussie,uk.
I don't think refugees have about 10-15 laks to spend on migrating illegally.

true! a genuine refugee wont have enough money to spend on human smugglers. its clear these people are economic migrants. people like this make things hard for genuine lankans to travel abroad. even a genuine refugee might lose his chance to get his asylum because of these selfish economic migrants who still use the war trick to get their asylum abroad.

From what I'm seeing most of the USA ass-licking countries still have all sorts of regulations against SL while other countries have made things better for us in the last 5 years.
So to be in the safe side I think we really need to get perfect paper work + extra docs to prove your visit, and sufficient financial background depending on the country you are visiting.
As for Sri Lanka being sorta blacklisted, I think it's because some of the Sri Lankan's doing crazy ass shit when they are overseas as well as Indians trying to pretend as SL and doing crazy shit. (I have seen myself, Indians wearing turban claiming they are Sri Lankans and approaching people in shopping malls and asking for shit.) I have already informed SL authorities but no one got back to me, as expected!

Also for Vietnam, according to what I have read in Bangkok post newspaper, Vietnam supplied weapons to LTTE through Cambodia. So that explains why they hate us so much.
