The guy was saying the rate is for contract work and not permanent. The hourly rate for contract work depends on experience but could range from $500 P/H to over $1000 P/H

Yes, that's true, but he maybe doing contract work and earning that amount, what I am saying is, that it is possible, it depends on the person and contacts he may have.

how can you get 1000 per hour let us be practical..the other thing is that this company is the service provider so they will definitely try to show that SAP is high in demand.....
you will work for one day and then the next few weeks no job becuase of no projects...its not the picture that people get

When i was studing in AUS, I did part time office cleaning, One day i saw one guy's payslip accidentally, his rates ware AUD $ 665/= per hour.

I think for guys who have studied and lived here for sometime, it is easier to get this type of contract work. When you are new in the country it will be hard go on contract to different companies.

True, I went to AUS in 1999, my brother came in 2001. It is not hard to earn money if you can specialize in one field. Ppl come to you to get the job done rather than you go and ask for jobs.
