Where did the word "Bajaar" come from? Anyone got any ideas?
My guess is that it's origin is Bengali. They call "Bazaar" a "Bajar". Likewise they don;t go to the zoo instead they visit a joo. They probably don;t have an phonic Z.
(We don't have an equivalent for Ph/Fa - so we invented a chararcter for that sound.)
