all the books by Dan Brown eg- digital fortress, Davinci code, Angels and demons.. ect twilight saga, all 4 books, jason borne series, books by micheal Crichton. but start from Dan Brown's.

2. watch english films, TV shows. do your research to choose the genre you like. I like scifi.
turn off the subtitle and volume up the sound

if you do not understand the dialog, then pause and repeat.

this way you can actually enjoy the movie much much better. now I never watch movies with subs on. subtitles are distracting our eyes, when you read the subtitles you can't catch the actor's real performance.

3. translate sinhala novels to english. this is very important. do all the translation just in mind. you don't need to write it down.
other people just see you as you are reading a sinhala book.:
