එළකිරි සාමාජික මහින්දගේ පුක සෝදන ටෝයියාට කොටියවයි හමුදාවේ රණ විරුවෝයි මාරුවෙලා


මහින්දගේ බයියන්ට කොටි ගැන දුක හිතිලා.

මම දැක්ක එළකිරි සාමාජිකයෙකු වන ටොයියා විසින් පල කරපු චයරුපයක් . මුන්ට ඇත්තටම කොටියා කවුදා හමුදාවේ රණවිරුවා කියලවත් අදුර ගන්න බැහැ. ඔය පින්තුරේ ඉන්නේ කටුනායක ගුවන් හමුදා කඳවුරට පහර දෙන්න ආපු LTTE කාරයෙක් ගෙ ෆොටෝ එකක්. මුන් කටුනායකට ඇතුළු වෙලා තියෙන්නේ හමුදා නිල ඇඳුම් ඇඳගෙන. හමුදාවෙන් ගහපු මෝටාර් ප්‍රහාරයකින් තමයි ඔය මැරිලා වැටිලා ඉන්නේ මේක නොදත් බයියෝ ටික කොටි ඇරියෝ ඇරියො කියා කියා කෑගහනවා. මම කියන්නේ නිකන්ද මේ මුන් ෆොටෝෂොප් එඩිට් කරන්නේ මුන්ට මහින්දය හැමදාම හවසට ගල් අරක්කු බාගයයි බුරියානි පැකට් එකයි එවනවා.

ඇත්තටම මේ මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ ඇතුළු මේ මිනීමරු නඩයට රට ගන්න ඇත්තටම කැක්කුමක් තියෙනවද ? මුන් කරන්නේ බොරදියේ මාළු බාන එක. මුන්ට හමුදාවේ කොල්ලෝ ගැනවත් රට ගැනවත් කොහෙත්ම කැක්කුමක් නැහැ. මුන්ට ඕනේ අයෙත් බලයට එන්න. බලය ගන්න හමුදාවේ කොල්ලන්ව හෝ මුළු රටම විකුනනල හරි මුන් එන්න දගලන්නේ. මුන් මොනවා හරි දෙයක් අල්ලාගෙන කොටි ආවෝ ආවෝ කියා කියා කෑගහනවා.

එක අහන්න ඉන්නේ මේ මෝඩ බයියලා ටික මෙන්න කොටි ආවෝ ආවෝ කියා කියා ෆොටෝෂොප් ෆොටෝ හද හද කාලේ කකා ඉන්නවා.

යුද හමුදාව ප්‍රතිසංවිධානය කරන්නැයි ජිනීවා යෝජනාවක්‌

ශ්‍රී ලංකා යුද හමුදාව ප්‍රතිසංවිධානය කරන්නැයි ජිනීවා මානව හිමිකම් කවුන්සලය නිර්දේශ කර ඇත. මෙය සිදුකෙරෙන්නේ නම් බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය රජය ස්‌ටර්ලින් පවුම් මිලියන 6.6 ක්‌ ලබාදීමට තීරණය කර තිබේ.

මෙරට ආරක්‍ෂක හමුදා ඉතිහාසයේ මානව හිමිකම් කවුන්සලයේ නිර්දේශ මත ශ්‍රී ලංකා යුද හමුදාව ප්‍රතිසංවිධානයට ලක්‌කරන ලෙස නිර්දේශ කෙරුණු මුල්ම අවස්‌ථාව මෙය වේ.

එකී ප්‍රතිසංවිධාන වැඩපිළිවෙළ යටතේ ශ්‍රී ලංකා හමුදාවට බ්‍රිතාන්‍යයේ පුහුණුව ලබාදීමට ද බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය රජය එකඟ වී ඇත.



Top military officers will be held accountable in the domestic process when investigating incidents related to the war.[/COLOR]

Former President Chandrika Kumaratunga said that the accountability process will begin either this month or next month.

She said that low ranked soldiers will not be chased after in the war crimes probe but the main line of command will be held responsible.

Kumaratunga also said the Government will accept foreign technical assistance in the domestic process but not have foreign judges.

Speaking at a media briefing organised by the Office for National Unity and Reconciliation (ONUR), Kumaratunga said that Sri Lanka now has a golden opportunity to achieve reconciliation.



Kumaratunga said that ONUR, which is headed by her, is forming a National policy on reconciliation and hopes it will become Government policy.

She said that a political solution will also be looked at and the 13th Amendment to the constitution will be used as the base for the final solution.

Kumaratunga also said that the proposed constitutional reforms in the year 2000 when she was President, the All Party Representative Committee (APRC) report, Panel of Experts (PoE) report of the UN and the Lessons Learned and Reconciliation Reports (LLRC) report will also be looked into when finalizing the political solution.

The former President noted that the final solution must be acceptable to all communities and the process will involve political parties and groups representing all communities. (Colombo Gazette)
