The situation with Indians was different. How a Russian girl knows anything about cricket. But disrespecting a fellow team, a country which warmly welcomed them every time when they visit, is a worst possible thing a professional cricketer can do. I don't see any similarity between these two incidents. Devilliers himself realized that he said a bad thing during that interview. You can re-watch that interview and look at his face, impression after he said it. He deserves that mocking. All thing he did is. All of this behavior of him, related to IPL money. He gave what Indians wanted to hear at that interview. Because as long as he gives "anything" Indians wanted, Indians will give what he wanted. If SL also has a rich cricket league like IPL he would never say like that. We will hear compliments about SL from him. Now he has retired from international cricket just to play IPL. Proves it all.
