No. 3 should be a reactive player rather than some one very defensive in mind. Kusal perera is completely the opposite of Kaushal, so he also is not suitable for No.3. Questions to find answers ..........

I also think that Kusal Mendis is ideal for No.3. He got both defense and attack in the right balance. But Ford has said that in future they are going to play Kusal Mendis at No. 4.

ya kusal cant be No 3, he can open but he has to improve few things, unless we can find someone else my openers are kusal janit and dhananjaya, k mendis at 3 chandi at 4 , chandimal is finally improving and taking the responsibility we can trust him at 4
