(To tell you the truth, this is what got me to read English novels. Really good stuff. Short chapters. Simple English. A real page turner.)

That makes a two of us :D
But I believe the best place to find practical English is News Papers

so am I to understand that the days of people bitching about some of us posting in english around here, are coming to an end? lets praise the Lord!!

At the same time you might wanna consider that there would be bitching threads even in English in the near future

    got nothing to offer though

Just bitch around. Hell even I picked up something here and there from you and old man

I agree with you machan. But the thing is, the young crowd (including me) is not interested in reading newspapers. It would be much more effective if they started reading something interesting as a start.

    How old is he actually..

Everyone ? Its just me talking loud :D

 Even I dont read them much ban

There are several advantages on reading news papers instead of relying only on books and movies.

Its the only place you'd fine both good reading and writing styled English
English that you can see there are upto date
    etc

    Can't be arsed. (cba)

Can't be arsed. = can't be bothered or unwilling to do something proposed to you.

You are having a nice time with a friend in your home. Your little brother who is
chilling in his room, doesn't know about it and asks you to play a video game
    with him. So you reply,
"Awhh I'll play with you later, can't be arsed right now."

    Other Ex:
"I cba to call her tonight."
Mum: "Clean your room."   Me: "Can't be arsed!"
Dad: "Did you mow the lawn yesterday?"   Me: "No.It was too nice a day. I couldn't be arsed."

    Ohh is it so
But IMO marriage doesn't make a person old bro.
It's the experience that you get in life makes you old..
in that case i truly consider kosandpol is old from reading along his posts and what I've heard about him..:)
