Yes machan you can go anywhere after pr.But 491 visa is 5 years.They will for sure keep pending your Pr application for another 2 years if you apply pr after 3 years.They won't give you pr on the same year.It's just my understanding with how the way things go.so by the time you get pr after 5-7 years you'll setlle in regional anyway because you have lived there for so long and invested.

Whos care's about dragging as long as you are onshore.
If you are onshore and apply for PR 887,189 or 190 whatever it is you will get the Medicare with the bridging visa.

But might be difficult to get phone contracts, loans even to get into jobs with bridging visa.
