කතාව කෙටියෙන් කිව්වොත්, 2020 January බිස්නස් group එකකින් සෙට් උන පොඩි ව්‍යාපාරයකට Rs 100,000 ක මුදලක් invest කලා 6 months වලින් return කරන්නත් 3% interest එකක් monthly දෙන්නත් පොරොන්දුව පිට. මට මුදල සඳහන් කල්ල 6 months ඉදිරියට date එක දාල valid චෙක් එකක් ලැබුනට පස්සෙ මම එයාගෙ account එකට සල්ලි දැම්ම.
මිනිහ පොරොන්දු උනා සල්ලි ගත්ත බවටයි 3% return එක ගෙවනව කියලයි lawyer කෙනෙක් ඉස්සරහ sign කල්ල letters ටික හදල දෙන්නන් කියල. අන්තිමට 6 months ඉවර වෙනකන් letters ටිකත් නෑ monthly දෙනව කිව්ව return එකත් නැ. ඇහුවම next week bank කරන්නන් මේ ටිකේ වැඩ වැඩි උනා අරකයි මේකයි කියල බයිල කියවනව. අන්තිමට return එක අමතක කල්ල invest කරපු සල්ලි ටිකවත් ගන්න කියල cheque එක bank කලාම ඒකත් return උනා.
දැන් situation එක පොර මාව වටේ යවනව සල්ලි හෙට දෙන්නන් අනිද්ද දෙන්නන් කිය කියා. ගොඩක් වෙලාවට ෆෝන් answer කරන්නෙත් නැ.
මට දැනගන්න ඕන returned cheque එක recover කරගන්න legally මොකද්ද කරන්න ඕන කියල. නඩු කියන්න යන cost එක කොච්චර වෙයිද කියල.

as I heard this won't help to recover the cheque but to punish the cheque issuer only if he has commit a crime, any idea??

I had this same issue about two years ago, that was for a larger sum. We made an entry with the police, they called the guy and told him he needs to pay or they will arrest him and put it to court, in the end, I got part of the money but didn't continue as I am not in the country most of the time.
