4. salary එක basic සහ අනන් මනං කෑලි වලට නේ දෙන්නේ, employ කෙනෙක් මාසයක් අවසාන වෙනකොට company එකෙන් resign වෙනවා නම් (immediate) උට full salary එකම දෙන්න ඕනෙද නැත්නම් basic එක විතරද ලැබෙන්නේ ?

1. Companyata double face පෙන්නන්න බෑ. Service Letter එක දීල පස්සේ වෙන වෙන කතා කියන්න බැ.

2. If youre in the payroll you must have a valid proof of your payment. If the company has a system, still you can request a signed and sealed payslip. I recommend to get it anyway..

3. It is the agreement that you sign. Agreement must have a termination clause. It can be two months or one month or sometimes a bond.

4. Basic is must to pay. Comissions/Allowance are added on top of it and company can say no.

Machan,

1. Get a job reference or confirmation of experience letter saying that you need it for a degree/master or something else (find a good reason). And try to get this letter addressed as "To Whom it may concern", you can provide it anywhere else.

2. Once you got the first letter, give the resignation. Company cannot decline your resignation letter. (Read the termination clauses of your agreement). If you initially agreed to give 2month notice, you must do so. Never ever break this conditions. Company can easily go against you and demand for a compensation from you. And, once you give the resignation, you must receive a resignation acceptance letter. Its a basic thing. they cannot say no.. if you have difficulties, seek assistance from labor dept.

3. Once you have the resignation acceptance, work for the remaining 2 months. Be careful in this period. They can find a clause to sue u or demand some money.

4. In the last week or two, you can ask for the service letter, be friendly and try to get a good letter. No reason to give you a bad letter. and also, they must give you a service letter. By any chance, if they dont give a good letter, You have the first letter to show in your future employments.

5. Once you leave the company, goto EPF dept (in Fort) and ETF dept (In Narahenpita), and they will first ask you to resolve the case friendly with the company, because, if you lodge a complain and if the company found guilty, they must pay your balance with a fine ( as I can remember 50K or something) and the interest. Lodge a complain as the last point.

try to resolve the matter friendly, never ever go for arguments..

In the new company, you dont need the previous B-Card, you can open a new account under your NIC. Linking the previous EPF account is a hectic process and there is no advantage doing so. But finally, get your bcard,
it will help to save lots of time when you withdraw your epf money.

1. Mostly if you have the experience letter or any other way to prove, they will not call unless its for a top management position AFAIK

2. what i have seen is normal computer generated ones, and if you need to obtain a loan, company will put a seal on it and HR will sign

3. මාස දෙකේ සීන් එක valid වෙන්නේ only if we sign, usually its mentioned in the appointment letter or contract letter you get prior to join.

4. if its a genuine company, they will pay the full salary AFAIK. i got this from my previous work place.

Labour department eken confirm kara, Ayin wenakota BCARD dunne nathuwunath kamak naha kiyala NIC eken 55 passe EPF ganda puluwan lu. (Now everything is computerized)

Companiyen EPF gewala nathnam, ethana work karana athara thura complain ekak danna epa kiyala kiwwa.
