I just completed the CEH program, like Sub Zer0 said this doesn't make you a hacker, this course gives you the basic knowledge about hacking and rest is up to you. if want you can do Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) after CEH, CHFI is about how to defend against hacking and find unauthorized access to systems. If you wants to do a degree There's BSc in Cyber Security in SLIIT and Msc too. Then again a degree in cyber security doesn't give your magical powers to do hacking. you have to have a passion for this.

My advice is to do a general IT degree and cover basic software and networking fundamentals. When you overall knowledge in these areas then master hacking skills and build the mindset There would degrees offered by many universities, those are just marketing aspects

Im in a popular gov uni and lectures dnt even heard the word 'penetration testing' but they are keep talking bullshit regarding hackers and programming languages for hacking. Lol. Im fucking disappointed with them. (Its ok to if they dont know because its a different area. But how the fuck thy keep talking stupid bullshit)

Also they force people to write down 'how to compile java using cmd' in their books children have all the commands step by step do it.

Dude we are living in a such kind a education shit. If u are interested in offsec learn it yourself. I think sliit people are good with infosec cos i saw some ctf challenges in their codefest.
