Is Sri Lanka a better country for Living???????

Honestly, living in SL is becoming difficult day by day. I say this coz I know how ma dad worries about the cost of living here. Frequently he says its better to migrate than staying here. I hope something good will happen in the near future :/

my honest opinion is that sri lanka is a really awesome country... but its kinda goin from good to bad... lately people are kinda selfish n stuff... i dunno much about other countries but sri lanka is loosing is ambience..
i personally kinda like singapore.....

SL must be #1 or better than that.. Sri Lankans, Our culture...Ah I forgot.. This only applied if there's No greedy, needy, smelly Politicians in this country as well..

Singapore is good is you are a Bachelor you just work for few years make some money and get the hell out of there!

Not the country that you wanna raise a family... the life style is so boring.. no where to go.. everywhere is JAM PACKED!!!

All the factors have to be considered.
SL spend great part of its budget for security.If war ends that part can be directly spend on other crucial area that needs rapid development

well even if da war end...
wat do you think da govenment would do to da amy...????
tell them to go back home...???

a major part which is seperated to da war from da budget is separated for da good will of da SL army....

so even after da is over we can't save a lot of money for development...
cuz there are a cupple of millons in the army right now
and it's a must dat we should treat them right


so ending da war is not a solution to make SL a better place to live


and when we talk about culture even today we han=ve one of da best cultures in da world....
no doubts about dat...
but the more the people find it difficult to get there daily meal...
the more they tend to forget the culture...

Work for a few years...Find yourself a nice girl ..Come to SL and settle down..

Meet up on a saturday..watch a cricket match..have a few beers..
you know...life is all abt living...it's not working your ass off day in and day out just to go up in the career ladder...i totally agree, a person needs a secure income in order to live a comfortable life...but at the end of the day there's nothing like being happy and stress free ...

I born in sri lanka ..This is my country ..Because of that I must and I can face all the problems in my country..

I think we would all love to say YES.
But my friend it is not cos of these damn politicians.If you go to a developed country you will see that we are at least 100 years behind them.
The only positive thing in Sri Lanka at the moment for me is Pure Buddhism.

Our transportation system, health system, etc. really sucks compared to them.

Sri lanka may have the people to do it for them.But the current politicians i'm sure are not the ones
