there are no jobs like that. he gets a project they ask the time frame and then he completes it based on the number of days. overall his annual salary will average out to about 10k a month if he is lucky. if they divide that by the hours to make the pay slip you get big figures.....

The salary range for the same PERMANENT role is about 120k - 180k...
So yeah, 1000$'s a day may sound misleading - based on the number of days you would end up working..
Why would anyone go for a permanent position then?

I believe it as he is my brother, and he has been earning 1000 per day (before tax). He has to pay tax by him self as he is a contractor. This position is 6 months contract, and yes, he will earn 1000 per day for each day he works for next 5-6 months.
If you don't believe it, that s ok and i don't really care whether you believe it or not, I got nothing to prove just shared some information about salaries of IT industry in AUS.

That bcos, you don't get annual leave, sick leave, job grantee if you work as a contractor.
