You must be referring to the Zoom bombing incidents. Rather than getting your screen, what happened was others displayed their screens. Zoom fixed the vulnerabilities. But if you are using Zoom you can take some extra steps to prevent unauthorised joining in.
After that someone found that there's a subdomain takeover vulnerability in Microsoft Teams, attackers could have used a malicious GIF to scrape user’s data and ultimately take over an organization’s entire roster of Teams accounts. A fix for this was issued.
