I bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 a few years back from geekbuying and got it delivered via DHL. They do all customs clearing we have to pay the same to DHL when they deliver the phone to us.

On a side note, after using this Xiaomi up to now, I do not recommend it. There are durability issues and battery issues, not to mention serious performance issue as the phone ages.
I'd recommend you go for a samsung or at least a Huawei

bought it for around Rs. 25000/- total tax and clearing came to around Rs. 3000/-. This was in 2016.
