this is my opinion and I know the quality difference, but its a choice made with non-Japanese market.
1. Most people buy vehicles as a investment, but I dont, I just want to ride and get my shit done
2. I can change my vehicle to another brandnew within another 5 years by paying some extra amount and giving away the old .
3. All non-Japanese cars have their own markets (kia, perouda, susuki india)
4. KWID is a entry level vehicle that can be compared with some good cars in its segment. it doesn't look like a entry level hatch and features are just right for the price
5. Japanese cars comes with full options with quality interior and some level of safety, but they cost 3/4 times higher when buying in brand new condition.
6. Yes, life is worth more than the amount you pay for your vehicle, but its a chance everyone has to take because accidents can happen. KWID comes with a air bag and future (2017) versions are to be increased with global safety standards
7. Even i wouldn't buy a second hand indian car, because i dont like 2nd hand goods/items
finally this is not a justification, but a clarification for you to understand why "some" people go for these kinds of cars.

this is suitable for Japanese buyers who cannot get rid of Japanese out of their system. trust me i've been there, cars are fucking cheap in japan. Some people drive serina for 25 man = 25000LKR (2005 stats). In sri lanka its 12/15 lahks in the second market. all the vehicles are like that you must be feel so proud
