If a KWID cost around 0.353 mil for the top variant in India, which is roughly equal to 0.767 mil SLR, the math doesn't add up as it's priced at 2.21 mil in the Sri Lankan market, even with all the taxes and whatnot. I wonder where all the extra money went to (AMW )

= 796k LKR (source)

Sri Lankan customs rate applicable to <1000CC engines is LKR 1,600 per cubic centimeter (source)

Duty: 1,600 * 799 = 1.278m

Total = 1.278 + 0.796 = 2.074m LKR.

Total cost if you import it yourself = 2,074m.
AMW's theoretical profit = 136,000 LKR.

AMW of course gets the vehicles for a cheaper price. The INR value is x-showroom, which already includes the dealerships profit.
