1. UNF wasn't just "the opposition" which is contesting for power after 2-3 terms... If it was just Ranil and the UNP people could've predicted that there would be a time like 2001-2005. If it was just My3 he would've stood no chance at all. The unholy alliance of My3+Faction of UPFA+UNP was a whole new organization.

2. Don't you see how Rohan Pallewatte is "full of political slogans" nowadays? Don't you see the similarity?

If that's the case my point is we don't know anything of these faces at all. Just like we didn't know how an alliance of people with entirely different ideas and visions would pan out once they come to power.

4. Like I said if it was just the UNP and Ranil majority of people wouldn't have voted for them regardless of how good their manifesto was back in 2015. They knew that too, if that wasn't the case they would've presented their own presidential candidate.

1. One could again argue, palle is good with administration as he already runs his own production base company and offer jobs I think both are capable of doing something than typical politicians, but my point is you can't do that much if you are surrounded by same bunch of thieves and thugs

IMO there wasn't. The only thing all parties of that particular alliance shared was the need to oust MR.

I'm not comparing RP with Yahapalanaya - all I'm saying is his political campaign so far is very comparable with the 2015 Yahapalana campaign.

We'll know more once he takes his manifesto to the people.
